Bravur is a Swedish watch brand, assembling each timepiece to order in our Swedish studio. We are driven and inspired by the sport of cycling, the most beautiful sport in the world, incorporating the style, intricate details and secret codes of the sport into our designs. We blend the past and present, crafting something entirely new and uniquely Bravur. Bravur has been creating watches combining a Scandinavian design philosophy and Swiss made movements since 2011.

Founded in 2011

Bravur is an independent watch brand, based in Stockholm, Sweden. The brand was founded in 2011 by long time friends Magnus Äppelryd and Johan Sahlin, with the ambition to create a personal embellishment to act as your everyday companion. Design is the essence of Bravur and our vision is to pursue a perfect sense of sophistication and style through unique detailing. Every part is designed with simplicity of hand but with evident and unitary elements composing the signature of Bravur - timepieces embracing the present. The brand was founded on 3 main principles: - Build a strong identity in the design and create a consistent, distinct and unique design language. Great design isn't gender specific. - Create watches with the highest build quality, finish and materials at an accessible price point. - Communicate an urban lifestyle, inspired by arts, design, music and other cultural movements. We simply couldn't identify with the macho jetset lifestyle the traditional brands communicate, using cars, yachts, airplanes, etc.
