History of Selten Watch Co

Founded in 2017

Selten is a brand based in Hong Kong. Started by Leonardo Tsai which comes from a family of watch professionals with a rich heritage in horological excellence, his idea to create something different started in 2017, and he has not looked back ever since. Making honor to his name, Selten means "rare" in German, the reason for this name is to pay respect to German watchmaking. This admiration can be spotted immediately with design cues such as lugs, case sides and finishing, not to mention the quality. The idea of a Selten watch is not to make a product or something that sells, it is more about making something special which is very different from the mainstream. It is not about making a different product for the sake of being different, it is about creating. There is a defined design language, but rest assured that the brand will come with a new twist in what could be considered a new standard for microbrands.
